Hi,
I am beta testing MOM 2005 SQL MAnagement pack which requires the
SQLSERVERAGENT service to be started. But upon starting the same i get the
following error:
"Could not start the SQLSERVERAGENT on the computer.Eroor 1069 the service
did not start due to a logon failure".
Getting this error both on the 2003 and 2000 server. As I'm a newbie to SQL
can someone kindly let me know as to why this error is occuring?
Many Thanks!!!Verify that the domain / workgroup user account that is running the service
has the correct password.
Go to manage->services->SQLSERVERAGENT then Log On tab page and retype the
password (verify that the current user in the user field is correct). Now
see if the service will start.
