error -1 when running rebuildm.exe

I tried using rebuildm.exe but it failed with error code -
1. SQL server will not start. Any other ideas?Was rebuildm.exe looking for it's files on the CD-Rom Drive..? If so try
copying the files to the hard disk, removing the Read-Only attribute and
retry. There's a KB on this somewhere, i'll try and dig it out.
