I do the following on my contingency boxes
exec master..xp_cmdshell 'Dir D:\*.*'
and I get
Msg 50001, Level 1, State 50001
xpsql.cpp: Error 1385 from LogonUserW on line 488
What doe sthat mean?
Not much on Google...I'd bet that the NT login being used by xp_cmdshell when you invoke it does not have permission to see what is on that drive.
