Error =x8004D00A after SP4 on SQL 2000 on W2003

Hi:
Some clients (Windows XP all of then ) on my aplication (components and VB
6 ) have this error message
I did the follow KB but no help me

Have you checked if DTC Service (Distributed Transaction Coordinator) is
initiated?

Yes I do
tengo algunos equipos que andan y la ocnfiguracion del DTC la revise
hice todo lo que dice Microsoft
y nada
